Amazon Alexa 'On App' Campaign

Type:

Live Action

Everything you've ever wanted in an instant, without breaking your stride. We recently had the opportunity to work with our friends at Amazon for Alexa to create a playful and energized world that shows all that Alexa can do with the touch of a finger. It was a total blast every step of the way!

"We wanted everything to have that same "touch" of magic with an effortless twist. Creating choreography and camera language that showcased Alexa's ease of use allowed us to merge script and intent with fun and pep!"

“By building out our hero character ‘Jay’ before even finalizing the script we were able to craft our art direction, lighting and set design around Jay’s personality. It was important to us to represent a unique character, who had a bold style and took on a challenge in their own personal way because who else would bring a disco ball camping?”

“For our third iteration of the Alexa trio, Luke & Maya, we wanted to mix together the energetic camera moves and magic of the first spot with the stylized lighting and character study of our second. With this combination we found the perfect cocktail of exaggerated stylization to match memorable characters to really bring the ease and personality of Alexa to life.”

PROCESS

"Making sure that we were capturing the energy and fun as we jumped through time was a key part of what we had to solve. This carried us through a day in the life of using Alexa, creating camera language that connected the scenes but wasn't distracting or trying too hard. We took a less literal approach so we could jump through time convincingly and playfully."
